Data controller

ASHERS HUB LIMITED, which operates BoligButler, is the controller responsible for processing your personal data. If you have questions, write to info@boligbutler.dk.

Which data we process

Depending on how you use BoligButler, we may process:

• Email address, login sessions and the time terms were accepted.
• If you use Google sign-in: your stable Google account ID, email address, Google's email verification status and profile picture when Google provides one. We do not get access to your inbox.
• Voluntary information in your tenant profile.
• Saved homes, search agents and the criteria you choose.
• Timestamp of the first time you view listing contact details.
• Your housing wishes if you use AI search.
• Subscription status and payment references. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by BoligButler.
• Limited technical information for security, troubleshooting and operations.

AI search

AI search uses OpenAI to find homes based on your wishes. Write housing wishes only. Do not include name, email, phone number or other personal details.

BoligButler does not store the raw chat. Homes are found among public listings. Listing contact details are not sent to OpenAI.

In "Describe with AI" we also do not store your raw description. We only store the filter suggestion that the AI makes from the text.

The AI does not make decisions about access to a home, creditworthiness, or approval or rejection of people. A search agent is only created when you open the dialog and confirm it yourself.

Why we use the data

We use the data to:

• create and secure your account
• deliver the features you ask for
• send your rental matches
• administer your subscription
• protect the service against abuse

Emails about account, security and rental matches are part of the service. General marketing requires a separate consent.

Voluntary visibility of tenant CV

Your tenant CV is private by default.

You can voluntarily show a limited profile to manually verified landlords with an active, approved and unexpired listing. The profile shows name, profile photo, age, description, household and housing wishes. We do not show email, phone number or nationality.

You can turn visibility off immediately under Tenant CV in your account. When a landlord invites you to a home, BoligButler sends one service email. The landlord does not receive your contact details.

Statistics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated operation and performance statistics. It does not use cookies or store identifiers that can follow you across websites. Payment events contain only plan, amount, currency and status—not contact details.

If you give consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga.

We do not send email address, phone number, chat text or other direct contact details to Analytics. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

Processors and storage

We use suppliers to run the service, including hosting, email provider, OpenAI for AI search and Stripe for payment. We only share data when it is necessary to deliver the service or follow the law.

Account data is stored while the account is active. When the account ends, we delete or anonymise the data unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask for:

• access to your data
• rectification
• erasure
• restriction of processing
• a copy of your data (portability)
• objection to a processing

You can manage or delete your account under account settings, or you can contact us. You can also complain to Datatilsynet.
